Imogene Cox, Mrs. Elizabeth Kenner and Mrs. Jane Hayes. The program will be open to the public. The Women's Missionary Union of Mt.

Zion Baptist Church will have a Bicentennial program beginning at 4 Sunday at the church, 1421 Geneva St. The Rev. J. C. Collins will dedicate two flags to the church.

The American flag was purchased by the Missionary Union and Emanuel Abair is donating a Christian flag in memory of his wife, Edna. The program will include the singing of "Onward Christian Soldiers," "America" and "Battle Hymn of the Republic;" scripture reading by the Rev. Hardy Williams, pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church; invocation by the Rev. Herbert Mothershead, pastor of the First Baptist Church in South Sioux City, and benediction by the Rev.

George Boykin of Malone AME Church. Mrs. Betty Mitchell of Mt. Sinai Church will sing a solo. Honored guests of the Missionary Union will be the persons holding the longest continuous membership in each of the participating churches and the deacon and trustee serving the longest terms.

Sever-son, son of Mrs. Mary M. Severson, 4116 Harrison recently was presented the Army Commendation Medal in Friedberg, Germany. Severson received the award while assigned as a clerk in Combat Support 1st Battalion of the 3rd Armored Divison's 32nd Armor, in Friedberg. A 1968 graduate of Hinton (Iowa) High School, he attended St.

John's University, Collegeville, and Morningside College. His wife, Mary, is with him in Germany. 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays; and a business course, "Corporations, Business and Nonprofit," from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

The latter will deal with a study of state and federal laws affecting corporations. The course on human sexuality deals with the biology of human sexuality and fami'y Principles of accounting a four-semester credit hour course, will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Dodson, son ot Mr. and Mrs. William R. Dodson, 2515 Correctionviile Road, has graduated at Lackland Air Force Base, from Air Force basic training. The Air National Guard air- William C.

Dodson man now goes to Keesler Air Force Base, for specialized training in the avionics systems field. He is a 1974 graduate of East High School and he attended Western Iowa Tech Community College. Airman Everett J. Haines, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Donald S. Haines, 3700 28th has been assigned to Ft. George G. Meade, after completing Air Force basic training. He now will be trained In the intelligence field.

A 1969 graduate of East High School, he received his bachelor of arts degree in 1973 from the University of Iowa. His wife, Marilyn, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Reed of Corydon, Iowa. Marine Sgt.

Alan R. Thiele, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Thiele, 3316 Lindenwood has been promoted to his pre-' sent rank while serving on Okinawa. A 1973 graduate of Central High School, he joined the Marine Corps in July, 1973.

Army Spec. 5 David B. Bogue, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R.

Smith, 512 Rebecca recently was graduated from the Army Noncommissioned Officers Academy at Ft. Bragg, N.C. Bogue, a computer analyst with Headquarters Co. of the 82nd Airborne Division Support Command, entered the Army in February of 1970 and last was stationed on Okinawa, Japan. Bogue's wife, Yaeko, is with him near the fort.

Earth, a 1974 graduate of Winnebago (Neb.) High School, has enlisted in the Army's Delayed Entry Program and will go on active duty Sept. 14. Airman Timothy R. Main has been selected for training at Keesler Air Force Base, in the communications electronics field. The son of Mrs. Loretta A. Timothy R.

Main Main, Bronson, Iowa, he recently completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. He is a 1976 graduate of Lawton-Bronson High School. Marine Pfct. Ronald C. Jess, 19, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Robert W. Rice, 5409 Stone has been promoted to his present rank while serving with Marine Aviation Training Support Group 90, Naval Air Station Memphis, Millington, Tenn. A 1975 graduate of East High School, he joined the Marine Corps in December, 1975. Saturday and Sunday Only Airman Edna S.
